Participants will gain an understanding of the impact of intergenerational

trauma on individuals and communities using real life examples and case studies as well as developing practical strategies to apply a trauma-informed approach in education.


Objectives:

1) Understand the concept and impact of intergenerational trauma on individuals and communities.

2) Explore how being culturally competent and having a stance of cultural humility can enhance learning, personal growth, and relationships.

3) Develop practical strategies for applying trauma-informed approaches in educational and

clinical settings.
