This networking event is part of a series designed to inspire conversations between school professionals working with struggling students. All school professionals (LDT/C, social workers, counselors, teachers, reading specialists, administrators) are encouraged to attend. Please feel free to invite a friend or co-worker. We only ask that you pre-register, so we can plan accordingly.
The format for this event casual. We have a general topic for each event; however the attendees determine the focus and created the conversation.
At this event we plan to continue our conversation on managing difficult behaviors in the main stream classroom. The discussion will look at general education as well as special education. Attendees are encouraged to bring sample I&RS cases including interventions and any resources you find helpful. Cases can be model cases that you wish to share as well as difficult cases that you would like to discuss with the group.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their favorite assessment and/or intervention tool(s) along with sample reports. Please remember to black out names for confidentiality.
