Caitlin Colandrea, presenter at the NJASP Winter 2016 conference, will join us for this networking event. Networking events are series of events designed to inspire conversations between school professionals working with struggling students. All school professionals (LDT/C, social workers, counselors, teachers, reading specialists, administrators) are encouraged to attend. Please feel free to invite a friend or co-worker. We only ask that you pre-register, so we can plan accordingly.
The format for this event casual. We have a general topic for each event; however the attendees determine the focus and created the conversation.
At this event Caitlin Colandrea will join us to continue our conversation on the role and function of I&RS with reading challenges and RTI. She will be available to answer questions and make suggests on how you can implement her recommendations. Attendees are encouraged to bring sample I&RS cases including interventions. Cases can be model cases that you wish to share as well as difficult cases that you would like to discuss with the group.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their favorite assessment and/or intervention tool(s) along with sample reports. Please remember to black out names for confidentiality.
