NJASP's End of Summer Picnic Celebration
Mentally Preparing for In-Person Instruction
Thursday August 26, 2021
This is not your traditional workshop!
NJASP is offering a chance to reconnect with fellow practitioners to mentally prepare for a return to in-person instruction. This event will start with an hour of yoga that focuses on the practitioner’s mental health, followed by 30-minute break for networking and end with an hour workshop that focuses on addressing the mental health needs of our students.
This workshop is laid back and designed to be fun. It is being held outside at the Mercer county picnic pavilion. Bagels, cream cheese, coffee, orange juice, and water will be provided throughout the morning. If you can only attend a part of the workshop, that is fine. the yoga class will be adapted to all levels no experience necessary. If you're not for yoga, you are welcome to use this time to socialize. If childcare is an issue bring him or her, just be mindful that you are responsible for their supervision and ensuring they do not interfere with the workshops.
